New Members Class
Our New Member/Prospective Member Sunday School class will be offered on Sundays February 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th at 11:00 a.m. in Room 222. The class will last for 4 consecutive Sundays and is designed to help you become more familiar with First Baptist Cleveland. If you would like to attend contact Lisa Clapp at 709-9100 or by email.
Tasty Blessings
Come to our monthly cooking class, Tasty Blessings, hosted by sisters Emily Goins and Jenni Akins. Februarys class will be on Monday, February 13th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the FBC Commons! Registrations will be taken through Wednesday, February 8th. Cost is $7 which includes tasting of recipes demonstrated, recipe packet and a drink. This months theme is Slow Cooker and Crock-Pot Cooking, yummy recipes that will be waiting on you!
Whispers of Love 2012
You are invited to a night of food, fun, and fellowship on Thursday, February 9th, at 6:00 PM in the Church Commons. This is for all single women – whether by choice or by circumstance. There is no charge and childcare is available. You may sign up at the Halo on Sunday or by calling 709-9100. Childcare must be reserved by Sunday, February 5th. Given by the staff of FBC – this is our valentine to you. Come and bring a friend!
Volunteers Needed
Volunteers needed to help with Preschool Discovery Zone at 9:45 a.m. for one year olds and two year olds. Also seeking a first grade teacher/helper at 9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Contact Tara Waldrop to volunteer!
VBS Training - Help Needed
First Baptist Church will be hosting the Regional Vacation Bible School Training on Thursday evening, February 23rd! We are looking for individuals to help with decorating for the dinner and serve as greeters that evening. Any First Baptist VBS volunteers who would like to attend the training are also welcome to attend this night – specifically designed for Bible Story teachers, missions, crafts and preschool teachers. Please contact Tara Waldrop if you can volunteer and/or want to attend the training!
