The church is the body of Christ fulfilling His will in the world. It is our belief that Christ desires to offer grace for forgiveness of sin and hope for the struggles of life. Therefore, it is our intent to be a people who experience His grace and forgiveness on a daily basis and offer the same to all who desire. As a place of hope we recognize that a church serves best as a hospital for sinners rather than a country club for saints. It is our vision to be a beacon of light in East Tennessee and beyond leading the way to Jesus Christ in whom this grace and hope is found.
Our Purpose
First Baptist Church exists to glorify God by making disciples who by the most effective means available will take the good news of grace and hope through Jesus Christ to East Tennessee and beyond and, to lay the foundation for future generations to do the same.

First Baptist Church Cleveland is located just North of Chattanooga, TN in Cleveland. We exist to be a People of Grace and a Place of Hope with something for everyone; whether you're checking out God and church for the first time, or are looking for a new place to call home, FBC has a place for you!
