Welcome to FBC's AWANA Clubs! Each week at FBC, over 200 kids and their leaders
are hiding God's word in their hearts! We have a place here just for you, so you can be
hiding His word in your heart, too! Come visit us any time!

What is AWANA? AWANA is an international Bible-centered youth minstry providing local
churches with weekly programs. Our AWANA ministry is for children 2 years old (by September 30)
through 6th grade. The acronym AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes
from 2 Timothy 2:15 in God's word.

When is AWANA? AWANA meets each Sunday night from 5;15pm - 7:30pm. The meeting is
divided into four segments (see below) and includes tons of fun and Bible-learning! The preschool,
divided into Puggles (2's) and Cubbies (3's & 4's), meet in classrooms, while the elementary meet in
The Backyard (formerly known as the Multi Purpose Room).

How does a night of AWANA go? The AWANA program is divided into four segments:

Handbook Time Handbook time is a small-group time where the clubbers recite memorized Bible verses to their Handbook leader	AWANA Games Game Time is a fast-paced, high-energy time of fun on a unique AWANA game circle; this is the segment that keeps clubbers coming back!
Council Time Council Time is a large-group time with Bible teaching and the time in which the clubbers receive their awards	Missions Time Missions Time is a large-group time where mission leaders share about mission efforts around the world. It includes hands-on activities and projects to help kids be On Mission!

Who can come to AWANA?

Puggles are a new AWANA club
for 2-yr-olds (by September 30, 2007).
In this club, leaders and parents
work together to teach the
clubbers foundational truths about God!

Cubbies club was established for 3 & 4-yr-olds
on two premises: That young
children receive Spiritual training,
and that the home is the
primary place for that training

The Sparks is a club for
K-2nd graders and is based on
getting kids into God's Word.
Sparks club combine learning with
fun to create an irresistable
excitement for the Bible!

Truth & Training Clubs are for
3rd - 6th graders. Here these clubbers will
find that the ultimate adventure
of knowing Jesus is way better
than anything they could imagine!
