'Play With A Purpose'...

is our theme for the our ministry. The purpose of our Church is to
be 'A People of Grace and A Place of Hope'. That is accomplished by the realization that

'We exist to glorify God by making disciples who by the most effective means
available will take the good news of Grace and Peace through Jesus Christ
to East Tennessee and beyond and, to lay the foundation
for future generations to do the same.


In the Recreation Ministry we use the avenues of leisure interest.
Through these avenues we have the great honor and privilege in bridging relationships
between members, community participants and their guests
with the life-saving power of Jesus Christ. In short, we want
to 'Reach, Teach and Change Lives Through God's Power and Presence'.

How do we do that?

Recreation Ministry is a relationship ministry. We use every opportunity we can,
through leisure interest of our members,
to share God's love and truths to help in bridging the gap between us and Him.
This assimilation is our ministry in helping others join and participate here at FBC,
and then in-turn, go and continue to minister to those on our Cleveland community, state, nation and world.
